SAMBA, Oct 30: State president, BJP SC Morcha and MLA Samba, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal today kick started black topping work of road of Lane No 17, 18 and 19 in Greater Kailash Jammu in presence of large number of the people of the area and senior officers of R&B Department.
The total estimated cost of the road is Rs 40 lakh. Addressing the gathering Dr Manyal said the blacktopping of this road was a long pending demand of the people of the area and the work will be executed by PWD (R&B).
He urged the concerned department to complete the work in stipulated time. He said all the developmental works in Samba constituency will be fast paced so that these can be completed in a time bound manner.
The MLA said that no compromise will be made with the quality of the work and special care will be taken and this road will be very helpful for the people living in this area and local residents.
Later, Dr Manyal visited Budhwani, Samba to start black topping of the road which will be constructed at the estimated cost of Rs 13 lakh.
During his visit he was accompanied by AEE, AE and JE PWD(R&B), besides BJP activists including Mandal president, Samba, Sanju, Dheeraj, Binny, Pappu, Mohindar Pal Bika, Panku, K C Bhagat, Bharat Bhushan and others.
