JAMMU, Feb 17: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma conducted one day tour of Billawar constituency, participated in various social and religious functions in villages Krispur Koti, Bhaddu Dadwara, Phinter, Dhed, Lakhri, Deval, Pranjali and Billawar town and interacted with the people.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma criticized Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh DyCM for not initiating a single new project/scheme for welfare and development of Billawar constituency even after completion of more than two years but kept himself busy in counting the projects/schemes initiated or completed by the previous Government by his name to take credit but the people know the reality.
Dr Sharma accused DyCM for his discriminatory attitude towards Billawar constituency represented by him as he has started some projects in village Karanwada in Basohli constituency instead of Billawar like model HSS, tourism huts and parks worth crores in his native village Karanwada and did nothing for the welfare of Billawar.
The deputationist apprehended that Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh may ignore Billawar for establishment of District headquarters. The deputation requested Dr Sharma to come forward and take appropriate steps so that he may not success in his hidden agenda.
Dr Sharma assured the public of Billawar constituency that he will not leave any stone unturned for the welfare of Billawar and nobody will be allowed to discriminate with the right of Billawar and people of Billawar constituency.
Dr Sharma while giving a strong signal to BJP warned it not to test the patience of the peace loving Billawar people otherwise they will uproot the party not only in Billawar but from the State their anti people and anti Jammu policies and ignoring the sentiments of the general masses.
