Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, June 16: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Dr Manohar Lal has    expressed serious concern over the slackness of  the BJP- PDP Government towards the  Public Service Commission issue.
In a press statement here  Dr Sharma has shown deep anguish over the non -serious approach of BJP- PDP Government towards the premier institution- the   Public Service Commission which is  headless since eight months. Moreover, there is no member in the PSC now. The list of the last  selected candidates in KAS and KPS is still unsigned and exams which has be conducted much before, are still pending. Is it not a mockery with the educated unemployed youth of J&K state ?  Many  candidates who are preparing to avail the chance, disqualified due to the age factor and the Government seems to be least bothered, the Congress leader said.
Dr Sharma alleged that Govt is  playing with the future of  the youth. It is pertinent to mention here that the departmental promotions are also withheld due to the non- existence of PSC. There is an atmosphere of confusion in all spheres and BJP- PDP led  Government seems to be in deep slumber which has shown the clear face of  this governance. He appealed the Governor  to  intervene and issue orders for making PSC functional.
