Manohar flays BJP for failure to curb militancy

JAMMU,  Jan 4:  Senior Congress leader and former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma expressed deep shock over the martyrdom  of seven soldiers including a Lt Colonel  in the recent militant attack at Air Force base at Pathankote.
Dr Sharma strongly condemn  this cowardly incident of  militants and alleged that BJP Government has failed to curb the militancy.
The Congress leader said, ” W e have not learnt lessons from the past mistakes relating to have faith on Pakistan Government as Atal Behari Bajpai was travelling to Lahore with a peace mission Nawaz Sharief and Pakistan government gifted us with Kargil like war. After that we tried to make  peaceful relations with Pakistan and we again face the highjacking of Indian Airlines flight IC- 814 from Nepal to Kandahar (Afghanistan) and  Bajpai Government forced to  took the  decision  to release most dreaded militant Azhar Masood and its associates from jail and taken to Kandhar by then Foreign Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh,” he added.
Dr Sharma said that it is pertinent to take in account while dealing to curb militants and antinational activities the release of Azhar Masood who happened the chief of  Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit was right or wrong in the national interest. The Jaish chief  Azhar Masood is spreading and managing most of fidayeen attacks in India. Masood not only managing fidayeen attacks in India but also playing a major role in luring and motivating  the youth towards militancy.
The Congress leader said that  Mr Modi and  BJP always accused Congress and advised Dr Manmohan Singh for not sending love letters to Pakistan, they tell the nation where Mr Modi and his  associates stand now?  The BJP Government is  weak to curb militancy  and  to deal with antinational elements.
Dr Sharma said that the martyrdom of the armed forces is unforgettable for the nation and we the every member of the Congress party stands with the forces.
