JAMMU, Aug 10: Senior Congress leader and former Minister, Dr Manohar Lal strongly criticized the anti-employee policies of the BJP -PDP Government in the State.
In a press statement here Dr Sharma said that State Education department recently issued orders for screening test and verification of teachers appointed under ReT pattern, whether they are regularized or going to be regularized after completion of their time period of five years. Most of these teachers are working hard especially in far flung areas.
There are number of employees including teachers/ lecturers who obtain/secure degrees from study centers and distance education program merely to get the promotion/elevation are not brought under screening test. Dr Sharma took serious note of the approach of Government towards the teaching community and the wrong policies of Government which discourage the teaching community to work with dedication and zeal.
He also criticized the Government decision for according thirty marks for Urdu subject in Naib Tehsildar selection criteria.
