KATHUA, Dec 10: Senior Congress leader, former Minister and general secretary PCC, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma strongly criticized the PDP-BJP coalition Government over hues and cries of the general public for basic amenities.
Addressing a public meeting at village Mela in Billawar constituency, Dr Sharma said that State Government’ wrong policies have multiplied the problems of the general public already leaving in miserable conditions.
“There is a depression prevailing all over and it seems that there is no Government on ground to listen the problems of general public”, he said, adding, the unprecedented rise in the price of essential commodities and decreasing the quantity of ration and kerosene further more increased the problems.
Dr Sharma accused the BJP Government for not giving any attention to the adversities of general public who is already ruined by the wrong decision of demonetization taken by PM Modi. “The general public particularly farmer is feeling very helpless as the seeds and fertilizers are out of reach due to the short of cash and unprecedented price escalation”, he added.
Earlier, people from various cross sections met DR Sharma and apprised him about the day to day problems being faced by them in routine life.
