UDHAMPUR, July 2: Expressing deep concern over the current scenario of stalled business, former MLA and Panthers Party President Balwant Singh Mankotia has sought financial package for the businessmen, transporters, gym owners and entrepreneurs.
In a press statement, issued here today, Mankotia said that due to COVID-19 every business has totally collapsed and it’s almost four months since first lockdown due to which middle class businessmen are suffering the most. He said that transporters are also facing many problems due to the total collapse of tourism on which J&K’s business is also completely dependent.
Mankotia said that most of the entrepreneurs are unable to pay their EMIs of loan which was taken to start their own business. He informed that many Gym owners, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, Transporters etc had pinned their hopes on the Government for some relaxation in paying their EMIs. He also appealed to UT Government to give relaxation with option of home quarantine for Inter State/Inter division movement in Unlock 2.0 guidelines, which are going to be issued tomorrow.
Mankotia urged Central Government & UT Government to consider these genuine demands and announce financial package to ease the sufferings of business community.
