UDHAMPUR, Apr 19: Chief patron of Dogra Kranti Dal and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia today installed second sanitization tunnel in Udhampur at Devika Ghat.
While addressing the media persons, Mankotia said that in view of increasing number of Corona positive cases in district Udhampur in last few days, it is important to install the sanitization tunnels at the busy places of Udhampur during lockdown.
Mankotia informs that our NGO members have prepared this tunnel themselves. He also expressed gratitude to all the shopkeepers and workers who provide material for tunnel including NGO’s volunteers as it was very difficult to arrange material during this lockdown.
He said that during this pandemic, Dogra Kranti Dal is doing every possible effort to ease the suffering of officials and people. He informed that the NGO has donated 25 PPE kits to doctors and paramedical staff, and organized regular free langar at hospital. Besides, free van for the patients was provided to District Hospital, Udhampur.
