UDHAMPUR, Apr 11: Chief Patron of Dogra Kranti Dal and former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia today donated sanitization tunnel to District Hospital Udhampur in the presence of Medical Superintendent, Dr Vijay Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Mankotia said that in view of increasing number of Coronavirus cases in Udhampur in the last few days, it has become very important to protect district hospital first because it is the most risky place in view of the pandemic.
He informed that their NGO members have prepared the tunnel themselves.
Mankotia expressed gratitude to all the shopkeepers and workers who provided material for the tunnel.
He said that it was very difficult to arrange material for the tunnel during the lockdown.
Mankotia further said that during this pandemic his NGO is also providing PPE kits to doctors, paramedical staff apart from organising langar.
