Jammu, Aug 28: Former Minister and JKPCC member Manjit Singh today sought clarification from the ruling BJP leaders to clear their stand whether they have surrendered before separatists.
Speaking at a function at Vijaypur, organised to pay homage to the two farmers Romesh  Lal and Puran Singh, killed in police firing in 1991 during a protest demonstration against power crises, Mr Singh said over two and half decades back there was power crisis and the same still continues.
“26 years back too, there was a power crisis which has not ended yet. Even today, farmers have been facing same situation and nothing has changed for them. They are still striving for electricity supply,” Manjit Singh added.
The former Minister said people of Jammu division voted BJP to power and for first time, they came to power. However, all their promises fell flat.
“They assured development, adequate power supply and proper share of Jammu region but nothing like this happened. They are in Government for power not to fulfil aspirations of the people,” Mr Singh said.
He challenged BJP to clear its  stand whether they are with nation or separatists because their coalition partner has sought time from the separatists which shows which line the saffron party has toed.
