Manjit appeals Govt to bring back stranded students

VIJAYPUR, Mar 29: Former Minister and senior leader of J&K Apni Party, Manjit Singh appealed the Government to facilitate return of students of the Jammu and Kashmir who are stuck in other states across the country during the lockdown.
“Students from Jammu and Kashmir are pursuing their studies in different educational institutions across the country. Many have returned, but a large numbers of them are still stuck in the lockdown in different areas,” said Singh.
He demanded intervention of Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu so that the stuck up students could be brought back to the Union Territory.
“Parents are worried about their children and hence, the Government should facilitate their transportation back to Jammu and Kashmir,” he demanded.
Singh appealed to the local administration that the chemist shops, agriculture produce related shops and pesticides shops should be permitted to open throughout the day in Samba district, so that needy people like farmer, ailing persons get the facilities timely.
