JAMMU, Apr 15: Former Rajya Sabha MP, Shamsher Singh Manhas, today unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election manifesto in Udhampur District.
Joined by key party members including BJP’s District President Arun Gupta, BJYM’s State Secretary Akhil Parashar, and District Media Incharge Bharti Sharma, Manhas underscored the significance of the manifesto titled “Sankalp Patra,” earlier released by PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi, crafted under the guidance of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Emphasizing its core focus on the welfare of various segments of society, Manhas highlighted the manifesto’s key categories outlined by PM Modi, including the poor, farmers, women, and youth.
He said the comprehensive 76-page document outlined initiatives ranging from the continuation of PM Ration Yojana to extending benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana to individuals over 70 years old, and the perpetuation of PM Ujjawala Yojana.
Manhas further accentuated the manifesto’s commitment to providing financial assistance to 10 crore farmers and addressed crucial issues such as One Nation One Election and Uniform Civil Code.
He commended PM Modi’s steadfastness in fulfilling promises concerning Article 370 and the Ram Mandir, underscoring his dedication to delivering on commitments.
He said the party’s manifesto also pledges to provide electricity to all households and presents opportunities for income generation through the installation of solar panels on rooftops.
Additionally, Manhas detailed various other initiatives covered in the manifesto, including the campaign for cervical cancer, benefits of Mudra Yojana, PM Kissan Nidhi Yojana, Ann Super Food, and the expansion of food processing hubs.
