JAMMU, Mar 31: A man today succumbed to his burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesman, an elderly man identified as Gurcharan Singh (75) son of Harbhajan Singh, a resident of Noushera in Rajouri district was shifted here at GMCH on the intervening night of March 30 and 31 after he suffered serious burn injuries at his residence due to unknown reasons.
Today at about 8 am, the man succumbed to his injuries. After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
