JAMMU, May 16: A youth was stabbed tonight with a sharp edged weapon by another youth here at Raghunath Mandir Chowk over some unknown issue.
According to a police spokesman, two employees of a shop situated at Raghunath Mandir Chowk tonight entered into a heated argument over some unknown issue and in the fit of rage one of the youth identified as Sanjeev Kumar son of Bishan Dass, resident of Pacca Talab (Rehari Chungi) attacked another youth namely Rahul Puri (25-26) son of Narinder Puri of Resham Ghar Colony, with a sharp edged weapon.
“In the attack, Rahul got serious injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable”, the spokesman said adding a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and the accused arrested.
