POONCH, Feb 13: An elderly man was allegedly stabbed during a group clash in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that over a land disputes at Gohlad village near Mendhar, clash took place between two families today. During the clash 60-year-old, Mohd Iqbal, son of Jan Mohd was allegedly attacked with a sharp edged weapon by two nephew. He was shifted to SDH Mendhar and later referred to GMC Hospital, Rajouri.
The police has registered a case FIR No. 45/ 2021 under section 307, 323, 452, 34 IPC against the accused persons. Police was searching for the accused persons who were absconding.
