RAJOURI, Dec 28: A man snatched a purse from a lady in Rajouri town but was caught by the locals with the help of police.
In broad daylight in Rajouri, a man snatched a purse from a lady who was going to Hospital for medical checkup, and ran towards river. As the lady raised hue and cry for help, locals present there informed police and apprehended the snatcher near the river with the help of police.
The accused identified as Shabaz son of Mohd Younis, resident of Muradpur, was arrested and a case under FIR Number 658 under Section 457/380 was registered in Police Station Rajouri. Further investigation started.
