SRINAGAR, Mar 22: Unidentified gun men shot dead one Javed Ahmad Waza of Bijbehara in South Kashmir this evening.
Waza was shot in his head from a point blank range and was rushed to the Sub-District hospital Bijbehara where he was declared brought dead.
The gunmen fled from the place after leaving Waza in a pool of blood. Police immediately rushed to the spot and launched searches to trace out the gun men who shot Waza dead.
Police arrested Waza last year in November after a girl lodged a written complaint stating that Waza was harassing her. However, he was later released.
