Man rescued from mobile tower

JAMMU, Oct 16: A man climbed on mobile tower was rescued by a joint team of Jammu Police, SDRF and Fire Services.
As per police sources, a person identified as Tersaim Lal (43), son of Roshan Lal of Rangoor Camp Vijaypur, who is working as a labourer in Fruit Mandi Narwal climbed a mobile network tower in Channi area.
Thereafter, the said person was unable to descend and was in dire need of rescue.
Acting promptly, a joint team of District Police Jammu, SDRF and Fire Services swung into action and started the work of rescuing the person.
After a nerve wracking exercise involving men and machinery of Jammu Police, SDRF and Fire Services, the person was safely rescued.
The locals of the area have graciously appreciated the efforts of the joint team in saving a precious human life and averting a tragedy.
