RAJOURI, June 18: The police arrested a person in Nowshera area and recovered 25 liters of illicit liquor from his possession.
Official sources said that police party from Nowshera Police Station during Naka at Nonial village intercepted a person moving on a scooty No. JK11V/ 3410 and during checking found 25 litrers of illicit liquor in the plastic container he was carrying with him. The police arrested the person and seized ‘Desi liquor’.
Identified as Garnail Singh, son of Mohan Singh resident of Qila Darhal, a case FIR No. 107/ 2020 under Excise Act was registered against him.
