RAJOURI, Sept 30: Continuing its efforts against drug-peddlers and criminal elements, District Police Rajouri arrested one person and recovered 5 grams of heroin from him in Thannamandi area today.
Official sources said that a Police party of Police Station, Thannamandi while on naka checking at Manyal intercepted one person and during frisking recovered five (5) grams of heroin from his possession. He was identified as Munshi Khan, son of Khan Mohd, resident of Danidhar, Rajouri.
A case FIR No. 205/2021 under section 8/21 and 22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at PS Thanamandi in this connection. The accused has also been arrested.
