POONCH, Aug 19: The police arrested a villager along with 58 bottles of Rum when he was coming from Mandi side to Poonch late this evening.
A police naka party led by SHO Poonch, Rakesh Akram intercepted a Maruti car No. JK-12/4147 and after physical check, recovered 58 bottles of Rum from it. The police seized vehicles along with consignment and arrested the accused person. He was identified as one Mohd Latief, son of Ghulam Mohd, resident of Sawjian in Mandi. A case FIR No. 109/2014 was registered against him.
