JAMMU, June 1: A man was murdered over a land dispute in Marh area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, Bua Ditta son of Des Raj of Smailpur, Marh had an heated argument with Nirmal Singh alias Fikky of Marh over a land dispute this afternoon.
Later, Nirmal Singh allegedly attacked Bua Ditta with a stone resulting into the death of latter.
On getting information, police team from Domana police station rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
After conducting the autopsy tomorrow, the body will be handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under Section 302 RPC has been registered at police station Domana and manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused, who managed to escape from the spot after committing the crime.
