JAMMU, Feb 5: A man and his mother have been booked for demanding dowry.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Women Cell Gandhi Nagar stating that her husband namely Harshvir Singh, son of Late Harvir Singh and her mother-in-law Raminder Kour, both residents of Flat Number 101, Royal Nest Apartment Trikuta Nagar harass her and demands dowry.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 06/2022 under Sections 498-A and 109 IPC has been registered against the man and his mother at Police Station Women Cell Gandhi Nagar and investigation set into motion.
