JAMMU, Oct 5: A middle aged man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his home at Bage Bahu area of city outskirts, a police spokesman said.
He said the man has been identified as Purshotam (45) son of Labu Ram and resident of Gorkha Nagar in Bage Bahu area. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable, he added.
The concerned Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
