Srinagar, May 1: Police today said a person was killed while two others were injured in a bear attack in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said a person identified as Abdul Rehman Bhat of Ganaiepora in Mattan area of the district was killed and two others identified as Skeena Akthar and Mohammad Ayoub son of Haji Dada were injured after a bear attacked them at Mattan.
“The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites and the injured were shifted to the District Hospital Anantnag for treatment,” he added.
