JAMMU, July 12: A 65-year-old man was killed today in a road mishap in Jourian area of Akhnoor.
“A Balero car bearing registration number JK02BK- 7957 driven rashly and in a negligent manner by Parveen Kumar son of Madan Lal of Dhalleri (tehsil Khour) from Naryana towards Dhelleri, hit a man at Dhelleri”, a police official said.
He said in the mishap which occurred this evening, the man identified as Suram Chand son of late Daya Ram of Dhelleri sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Primary Health Centre Jourian, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
In this regard, a case FIR No 51/2018 under Section 304-A/RPC registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
