REASI, Apr 20: A 40-year-old man was killed today in a tragic hit-and-run incident at Zero Morh.
The deceased has been identified as Jamit Singh (40), son of Nasib Singh and a resident of Khwass in Rajouri district. According to reports, an unidentified vehicle struck him at Zero Morh, resulting in his death on the spot.
Following the incident, the body was shifted to District Hospital Reasi for necessary medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to identify and trace the vehicle involved.
