JAMMU, Dec 11: A man was killed when a car rammed into the divider of the road at Bahu Plaza in city outskirts.
According to a police official, a speeding car bearing registration number JK02BS-1807 this morning rammed into the divider of the road at Bahu Plaza chowk, resulting into serious injuries to driver namely Pawan Mahajan (52), son of Som Nath, resident of 3/7 Trikuta Nagar.
He said that the injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
In this connection, Trikuta Nagar police had registered a case and started investigations.
