JAMMU, Nov 13: One person was killed and his brother got injured in a road accident occurred under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana.
The mishap occurred late night on Saturday at Chouhane Chak when a speeding car hit a motorcycle. In the mishap, two brothers namely Dev Raj (45) and Garo Ram (34) sons of Wakeel Chand and resident of Chouhane Chak (Sangrampur) sustained serious head, lag and face injuries.
The injured brothers were immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment. However, Dev Raj succumbed to his injuries on the same night in the Hospital. The body of the deceased was handed over to his family after postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation started.
