SRINAGAR, Apr 12: A man was tonight shot at and critically injured when militants opened fire at him in Kulgam district.
The injured has been identified as Abdul Hamid Mandoo son of Ghulam Hassan Mandoo resident of Buchroo. He was evacuated to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
Senior Police and security force officials reached the spot and a hunt was launched against militants who were involved in the attack. The area has been cordoned off and search is going on.
Police has registered a case and investigation is in progress.
