JAMMU, Jan 16: A man was critically injured today in a hit and run case occurred on flyover near Dogra Chowk.
“A rashly driven Brezza car bearing registration number JK02BW-4145 this afternoon hit a scooty near Dogra Chowk on flyover,” police sources said. They said the unknown accused driver of Brezza car fled from the spot leaving the scooty rider critically injured.
Sources said that some passersby came to the rescue of the injured man namely Gurdeep Singh son of Inder Singh, resident of House number 286, Bakshi Nagar, and immediately shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, from where his family members took him to some private hospital outside J&K.
Nowabad police had taken cognizance of the matter.
