Man injured in Chatha blast

JAMMU, Aug 23: A man was injured this morning when some low-intensity explosive material, used for illegal hunting of animals, went off inside his house at Chatha on the outskirts of the City here.
Further investigation is on in the case, Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Chandan Kohli told the Excelsior.
Injured identified as Rajveer Singh of Chatha has been shifted to hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
Quoting initial investigation, the SSP said the explosive material of low intensity was kept in the house for illegal hunting of animals.
A case under relevant Sections of law was registered and a probe is underway, police said.
The accused will be questioned to ascertain from where he got the explosive device after his condition improves.
