JAMMU, Sept 18: A man was injured today here at Indira Chowk when he got trapped and pressed between a load carrier and a truck.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Arif Hussain (25) son of Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Bhaderwah, was pressed between his load carrier and a truck when the hand break of the stationary load carrier got freed and the vehicle started moving towards the truck parked in front of it. The mishap occurred when the goods were being loaded on two vehicles.
In the mishap, Arif received serious injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for treatment.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
