KISHTWAR, June 3: A man received injuries when a bear attacked him in the jungle area of Drubeel Chatroo, here today.
As per police sources, a bear attacked Prem Nath, son of Jameet Ram of Drubeel when he was grazing his cattle in the jungle.
The injured person was shifted to SDH Chatroo, where he was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
Chatroo police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, the people urged the authorities to compensate the man-animal conflict victim at the earliest.
