RAJOURI, Apr 1: A villager was injured after a bullet hit him on the leg at a firing range in Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that one Dhian Singh (55), son of Sunder Singh, resident of village Nonial in Nowshera had gone to village Kanara to collect ‘Sikka’ at Army firing range. While collecting empties of the cartridges, the villager received bullet injury on leg. He was later shifted to Nowshera hospital and was said to be out of danger.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
