JAMMU, July 18: Bus Stand Police today arrested a man with intoxicants.
“A team of Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Vishal Shoor, while on naka duty on BC Road, rounded up a suspect namely Hashim Iqbal son of Mohd Iqbal Sofi of Saloora near Jamia Masjid (Ganderbal) and recovered 100 Tramadol Hydrochloride Capsules and 160 bottles of Codeine Phosphate (160X100 ml) on search of his belongings,” a police spokesman said.
He said a case under FIR Number 31/2022 under Sections 8/21/22/NDPS Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Bus Stand and the was arrested. “Intensive questioning is going on to know about his other accomplices involved in the crime,” he added.
The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO North Sharad Kalu.
