JAMMU, June 12: Chinore police nabbed a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from Bantalab area.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Chinore police post laid a naka at Bantalab and intercepted a man on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 50 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, who has been identified as Baku Ram, son of late Mangu Ram of Chanu Chak, Kanachack.
A case under FIR number 182 /15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Chinore SI Vikram Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana police station Inspector Rajinder Sharma, SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and Incharge SSP Rajeev Pandey.
