DODA, Aug 1: Pul Doda police arrested a man and recovered 40 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Pul Doda Police Post intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 40 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Lekh Raj, son of Lal Chand, a resident of Sandroon Bani, District Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 124/18 under Sections 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pul Doda Police Post Yog Raj made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
