JAMMU, July 23: Bishnah police arrested a man along with illicit liquor from Kothey Charkan area.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police team from Bishnah police station led by SHO Surinder Pal Singh under the supervision of Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey conducted a raid in a house at Kothey Charkan.
During the raid, police seized 5 litres of illicit liquor and arrested the owner of the house, who has been identified as Viru Ram, son of Saroop Lal of Kothey Charkan.
A case under FIR Number 107/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Bishnah and investigation started.
