JAMMU, Jan 13: Miran Sahib police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a man and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 5 grams of heroin from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Asif Ali, son of Nazeer Ahmed of Langotia.
A case under FIR Number 9/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ajit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prasher, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
