DODA, May 23: Thathri police arrested a man along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Balwana, District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 33/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Thathri police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Vinay Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
