JAMMU, Apr 25: Bari Brahmana police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, a team from Bari Brahmana police station apprehended a man along with 50 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Sarwan Dass, son of Rool Chand, a resident of Kho Rakhwala, District Samba.
A case under FIR Number 85/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bari Brahmana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma and assisted by HC Joginder Lal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Usman Chowdhary and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
