JAMMU, Nov 11: Arnia police today arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor and also destroyed around 700 litres of lahan.
As per police sources, on some reliable information, police team from Arnia police station led by SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh Samyal conducted a raid in the house of Bittu Ram, son of Ram Lal of Tara Chack.
Police recovered 5 litres of illicit liquor, destroyed around 700 litres of lahan and arrested Bittu Ram.
A case under Excise Act has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
