JAMMU, June 1: Banganga police arrested a man and recovered 100 grams of cannabis from his possession, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Nittu Sharma, son of Baldev Sharma, a resident of District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 102/18 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Katra Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Banganga Police Post SI Jasvinder Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Katra Surinder Paul Singh, SDPO Katra Vinod Sharma, Additional SP Katra Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Tahir Sajad Bhat.
