JAMMU, Feb 26: An unidentified man was today found in unconscious condition here at Ranbir Market but later succumbed in Government Medical College and Hosp-ital, Jammu.
According to police spokesman, an unknown man of age about 50 years was found this morning lying in an unconscious condition on the footpath in Ranbir Market. He said the passersby informed the police, who reached the spot and shifted the man to GMCH Jammu, where he expired in the evening.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and postmortem”, the spokesman said adding a case in this connection has been registered at City police station.
He said the deceased man who was wearing only a Black-Grey shirt and sport shoes, prima facie appeared to be a beggar.
