JAMMU, July 3: The dead body of a man of age about 50 years was found today here at Rehari Chungi.
According to a police spokesman, today at about 6 am some passersby spotted a dead body lying along the road at Rehari Chungi and informed the police.
He said on getting information, a police team from police post Rehari Chungi reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem.
“The deceased, is wearing a chocolate colour pent and sky blue colour shirt with black lining on it. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall”, the spokesman said, adding prima facie it appears that the man died due to cardiac arrest.
“However, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in the case at police post Rehari Chungi”, he added.
