UDHAMPUR, Feb 3: Under mysterious circumstances, a middle aged man was found dead in a hotel room at Shiv Nagar Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Sayed Abdul Aziz (53), son of Sayed Gulzar Haq, resident of Badodra Gujarat. He was staying in Hotel Dolphin, since last evening. As he did not come out of the room till late this morning around 10 am, the hotel employ knocked the door but did not get any response from inside.
After the Police was informed and the door was broken, the man was found lying in an unconscious condition. He was immediately shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where the doctor declared him as brought dead. Police has registered a case in this connection for inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC .
Meanwhile, an elderly woman was injured when she accidently fell from a hillock at village Bari near Jakhed in Latti.
According to the reports, Gayatri Devi (65), wife of Jay Krishan of Jakhed, sustained serious injuries after she fell from hill top at Bari. Some locals shifted her to PHC Latti where doctors referred her to Sub District Hospital Chenani in view of serious injuries.
