JAMMU, Oct 12: A man today fell unconscious at his workplace in Narwal area and later died on the way to hospital.
According to a police official, a man identified as Devinder Singh (60) son of Harbans Singh, resident of Sector 4, Nanak Nagar, suddenly fell unconscious this afternoon in the office premises of ‘Tara Singh and Sons’, where he was working as an employee.
He was immediately rushed to Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem.
In this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC were initiated in the concerned police station.
