SAMBA, Feb 4: A man falls from tree and died on spot at Partap Kot area of Ghagwal in district Samba today.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Wahid, 55, son of Alam Din resident of Chatroo Kishtwar at present in Partap Kot Ghagwal.
According to the police sources, the incident took place today evening in Partap Kot area of Ghagwal. He was working as servant with Mohammad Sharief. This evening he was cutting the branches of the tree, suddenly his foot slipped and he fell down from tree, as a result he died on spot. The body of the deceased was kept in the mortuary room of district Hospital Samba for autopsy.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
