UDHAMPUR, Feb 2: An elderly man died after he fell down from the roof top of his house in Ward No. 6, near Salathia Chowk in Udhampur town today.
“The deceased identified as Kuldeep Singh (72), son of Karan Singh, resident of Ward Number 6, Udhampur, accidentally fell down from the roof top of his house when he was allegedly taking a walk on the roof this evening”, a police official said.
He said due to fall, Kuldeep Singh received serious injuries and was rushed to District Hospital, Udhampur, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 4.10 PM. Later, the body was sent for postmortem. The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to the family members.
